Event Times:
8:00-9:00: Team packet pick-up, organization gathering.
9:00-10:00: 5k run/walk
10:00-11:00: Post-race party, awards and charity presentation
Event Staging:
The pre-race activities (packet and tee shirt pick-up, race night registration, organization gathering etc) and post-race party (free bagel buffet and beverages) will all be staged in the grass/picnic area next to the tennis courts within Eisenhower Park field/lot #2.
Race Course:
The 5k run/walk will all take place on the certified “banana loop” and yellow recreation trail course with the start/finish at field/lot #2.
Party & Catering:
The post-race party will feature a free bagel buffet and a wide variety of beverages; some alcoholic when possible.. For organizations that want to do something a bit more elaborate on the food and beverage side, you are welcome to cater your own organization picnic. We will provide plenty of picnic and banquet table seating for your entire team. Our D.J will be playing music from event start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 10:30 a.m for largest team, team with best tee shirt, best fundraising team and fastest teams/individuals.
Parking:
Plenty of free parking is available at Eisenhower Park field/lot #2.
Registration Fee:
$47 per team member.
On-Line Registration Deadline:
Friday October 3rd at 5 p.m
Team Payment Deadline:
Friday October 10th at 5pm
Race Day Registration:
Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) any team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant.
